Our Process: From Hive to You

At PureHive, every step of our process is guided by respect for nature and a passion for quality. From the moment bees create their golden gift to the time it reaches your craft table, we ensure purity, care, and consistency at every stage.

Bees Produce Beeswax

Worker bees (12-18 days old) secrete beeswax from special glands on the underside of their abdomen.

Man Harvesting Bees

Filtering

Beekeepers remove frames filled with honeycomb from the hive. They first extract the honey, then save the cappings for later.

Wax Testing

Melting & Cooling

The beeswax is melted down using warm water. The melted beeswax separates from large debris. It is then poured into containers to cool.

Craft Ready Pellets

Craft-Ready

Once collected, the beeswax is checked for any adulterations and then melted for 10-12 hours. After settling, the cleaned beeswax is then melted again and placed into production.
