At PureHive, our values guide everything we do—from hive to home. These principles ensure that every bar and pellet of beeswax reflects our promise of purity and integrity.
Our beeswax comes directly from the beeswax capping’s, the most valuable form of beeswax. No human processing or additives are involved.
Our beeswax is harvested with care, respecting both the bees and the environment.
Each product is carefully shaped and packaged, ensuring consistency, quality, and convenience.
From artisans to DIY enthusiasts, we create products that inspire creativity and elevate craftsmanship.
These values are at the heart of PureHive—delivering not just beeswax, but trust, tradition, and inspiration.
At PureHive, we keep our process simple, natural, and honest—ensuring you experience beeswax in its purest form.

Worker bees (usually 12-18 days old) secrete beeswax from special glands on the underside of their abdomens. The beeswax appears as small, thin flakes. Bees chew and mold these flakes. Each honey cell is sealed with a thin layer of softened beeswax (beeswax cappings) once the honey is ready.

Beekeepers remove frames filled with honeycomb from the hive. They first extract the honey, often by uncapping the beeswax layer that seals the honey cells using an uncapping roller. The capping's are saved and later melted.

The beeswax is melted down using warm water. The melted beeswax separates from large debris. The melted beeswax is then poured into containers and left to cool.

Once collected, the beeswax is checked for any adulterations and then melted for 10-12 hours at a temperature between 120 and 140°C. This stage helps to destroy any microorganisms, spores, and contaminants. The beeswax then settles for 9-12 hours and is later poured into containers via filters. The cleared beeswax is then re-melted on the production line and the granulation process takes place.
Our pure beeswax isn’t just a product—it’s a source of inspiration. From everyday essentials to creative crafts, discover the many ways makers bring PureHive to life.
